How do I download Linux onto my PS3?
Q. I understand that you can download other OS's onto your PS3,but how do I that? Once I go to "Install other OS",then what?
A. You have to download Linux on a computer and make an ISO and put it on a cd. Then, you partition your hard drive on the PS3 and install it. You cant just download it onto the hard drive and use it.

A. With your specs. As has already been suggested its really a choice of Puppy Linux or Damn Small Linux. You could take a look at Linux Mint 4.0 Fluxbox. If you wanted to go retro. you could install Windows 3.11
